Who We Are

sharptech is a Norwegian technology company dedicated to delivering high-quality hosting solutions for gaming and cloud infrastructure. We combine technical expertise with a passion for creating reliable, high-performance services.

Our Story

It started with us creating sharptickets as a service in 2012, a ticketing system designed for local volunteer organizers of digital culture events. We established a company to run this solution in 2016, as sharptickets Billettsystem DA. More and more organizers adopted the solution, and in 2025 a completely new version was launched.

In 2021, it was decided to expand the company to operate game servers, including for the game Valheim. That’s when the Valhost.no service was started, and through this we sold several hundred Valheim servers, along with servers for other games. In this connection, the company also invested in its own hardware, which was placed in a data center in Norway.

Now the service catalog has been further expanded with virtual servers. We have been selling virtual servers on a small scale since around 2022, but in 2026 the service has been further developed and is available to everyone. We are very proud of this and look forward to seeing what the future brings.

sharptech DA is a RIPE member, and we have our own network on BGP. All IP addresses we use are our own, and this also protects you as a customer. We also have the ability to offer sponsoring LIR services - please contact us to hear about possibilities and prices.
